Paying for dental work has never been so simple
We will provide you a detailed written estimate of the dental fees involved in your treatment. This will allow you to decide on the most appropriate method of payment. We may request payment in advance for treatments carried out at each appointment. We accept cash, debit cards and credit cards. Paying for dental work is now easy as we also have various finance arrangements to help spread the cost of your treatments.
All children and teenagers up to the age of 18 years are exempt from all dental charges. For people aged 18 years and above, an NHS exam is free of charge and the maximum you can be charged for treatment is £384.00. You may be exempt of all dental charges, depending on your personal circumstances.
Categories of NHS exemption include:
Patient/patient’s partner gets income support
Patient/patient’s partner has HC2 certificate
Patient/patient’s partner has HC3 certificate
Patient/patient’s partner gets income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

Where possible, we aim to treat all our patients on the NHS, but there are certain dental treatments that we are not allowed to supply under the current NHS guidelines. These treatments include tooth whitening and cosmetic dentistry. We therefore provide a full range of private options at our Bathgate Dental Practice and Fauldhouse Dental Care dental practices to all our patients. Contact us to make an appointment.
